Captain Jack’s Restaurant Disneyland Paris

Captain Jack’s Restaurant Review – Disneyland Paris

Captain Jack’s is a fantastic restaurant situated in Adventureland in Disneyland Paris. The decor is incredible and it is very unique as it is part of the Pirates of The Caribbean attraction.

Formerly known as The Blue Lagoon, this restaurant recently changed to Captain Jack’s along with a whole new menu. Before I struggled to eat in The Blue Lagoon but, with this exciting new change I finally managed to eat in here on my trip in May. Being the last day of Pirates and Princesses, this was the perfect setting to enjoy a meal and to relax.

The inside is brilliant and you do feel like you’ve been transported to the Caribbean. Having seen the restaurant from the queue of the ride and going past it on the boats, it always intrigued me to watch the boats go past whilst eating dinner. Pirates is my favourite ride, and I love the franchise so this is the perfect setting. Jack also makes appearances around lunch time which is a nice add on. You may also find him lingering outside!

The menu is fabulous. The attention to detail makes it even more exciting choosing what to eat, complete with a message from Captain Jack himself. The food options may have changed since The Blue Lagoon but, it is still quite adventurous.

I ended up choosing from the Treasure Chest menu and ordered the Mahi-Mahi Fish Fillet (and of course the famous bread rolls) as I found this to be the plainest option if you’re a fussy eater like me. They give you a free juice drink if you’re an Annual Pass holder too.

I was very happy with my experience at Captain Jack’s. The service was brilliant in a relaxed atmosphere and it was great to see the boats go past.  I think next time however, I will stick to the Chicken.
