Ever since I was little it was my dream to eat in the Castle with Cinderella, and that dream finally came true in Cinderella’s Royal Table.
Cinderella’s Royal Table
My first morning in the Magic Kingdom after ten years was truly magical. After watching the morning show and going on a few rides it wasn’t long until our reservation for Cinderella’s Royal Table, I couldn’t believe it. What I once thought was going to be only a dream was about to happen. You line up and wait to be called for your reservation under the Castle, (you have to wait until all your party arrives until you can go up the staircase). Greeted by Cinderella as you enter, she was perfect and the experience is something that you won’t forget. She was so kind and knew I was a big fan. She let me have as much time with her as possible.
Characters and PhotoPass
The characters made this experience extra magical. The PhotoPass Photographers are there waiting to capture those magical moments and to scan your Magic Band, and I was so happy with the result.
It was then time to head upstairs to our table and it was beautiful. You can peer down from the balcony onto Cinderella meeting her guests. You feel like you’re in a real Castle – truly enchanting!
We had Jasmine, Ariel, Snow White and Aurora and those were all the ones we wanted to meet too. They come round to your table during your meal. They are very efficient but spend enough time with you to make it special. You don’t feel rushed and they make sure they see everyone on your table.
You get given an adorable little wishing star with a wand, and the guys get swords. It’s adorable and a nice little added touch to remember the experience by.
The Food
The food is quite fancy so if you’re a bit of a fussy eater like me, don’t be afraid to ask the waiter for plain food that’s not on the menu. One thing that impressed me at Walt Disney World is that they will cater to anyone. The desert looked amazing. Such attention to detail – a bit like at Auberge De Cendrillon.
When you’re booking your dining reservations, I encourage you to make sure you get this one booked in. It was quite a hard one to get and I feel very lucky that it turned out okay and we made it happen. It’s not one to be missed. You can’t eat in a Castle every day! One tip I would suggest is to bring your own camera with you, the PhotoPass Photographer is only downstairs with Cinderella.
