Sequoia Lodge Review – Disneyland Paris

Sequoia Lodge has been at the top of my list to stay at and I’m so pleased I chose it for my first Christmas trip. It is such a festive hotel and perfect for this time of year. It makes you feel like you are in a Winter Log Cabin. Covered in fairy lights and Christmas Tree’s it’s hard not to be in the Christmas spirit when you stay here. Make sure you visit the shop so you can write a letter to Santa!

The location of this hotel is perfect. Just across from Lake Disney and a ten minute walk to the park through Disney Village. The best part about staying onsite is you are never out of the Disney magic! The check-in process did take a while so, I’d recommend leaving enough time if you want to hit the parks after so you don’t miss anything. Your room will be ready for around 3pm and you will be handed important documents including your hotel Easy Pass. The hotels all have a bag drop service too which is great for busy weekends as the lines can be huge, and you might not be guaranteed a space for your luggage by the park gates.

With a Restaurant, Bar, Spa and Pool, you’ll feel relaxed after a day at the parks. Redwood Bar’s cosy fireplace will warm you up with a Mulled Wine. Take your time to look around this magnificent hotel and enjoy every second of it. Also, look out for Mickey or friends in the lobby to get your photo taken, a great memory for your stay!

I highly suggest you book a Montana Room. They are located in the main building near reception. It is quite a large hotel but with a Montana Room it was easy to find. The rooms are very spacious, with two double beds. The bathroom is also lovely, with a huge bath, the sink is just outside in the main part of the room.  The rooms are also filled with details from the Disney classic Bambi, which is a nice touch.

Types of rooms:

Montana Lake Side
Golden Forest
Golden Forest Lake Side
Golden Forest Suite

Even if you don’t have breakfast for each day of your stay you can still head down to the restaurant on the day.

Sequoia has become my favourite hotel after staying in Santa Fe, Newport Bay and Cheyenne and I can’t wait to stay there again on my next trip!
